ZIG powered by IOL Inc. fully commits to protecting the personal data and sensitive personal data provided by our dear data subjects, and adheres to the conditions and exemptions under the Data Privacy Laws. IOL Inc. adheres to the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, proportionality, and data quality.
This Policy applies to data subjects of ZIG whether as users and such other persons involved in transactions with us or with our users. Collectively as “Data Subjects” or “Users”.
How do we protect your data
We, the IOL Inc. endeavors to take all reasonable steps to protect the information provided by Data Subjects, including the use of encryption technology. We implement reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
We also collect data through secured channels and ensure that only authorized employees and third-party service providers, who satisfy our stringent risk management, governance, information security, and data privacy requirements, can process your data. Sanctions and penalties shall be imposed on personnel who will breach confidentiality and security measures provided by IOL Inc.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data collected from the Data Subjects
The following data are collectively referred to as "User Data" or "Personal Information/Data". Personal Data refers to any information that identifies or is linkable to a natural person. Transactional Data—information collected from your transactions or interactions with ZIG such as:
Conversational data: This includes the text conversations/dialogues between the User and ZIG
User queries: The queries or questions posed by users to ZIG
User inputs: Any inputs provided by the user to ZIG such as images, videos, or documents
User actions: The actions taken by the user within ZIG such as clicks, selections, purchases, etc.
System outputs: The outputs generated by ZIG in response to the user's inputs
Behavioral Data— showing online behavior, user segment, usage of our products and services, non-personal information that can be read on your device while in use of ZIG and other electronic platforms, such as details of your operating system, browser version, domain name, and IP address, the URL you came from and go to and the parts of the platform that you visit, user ID, session identifiers and password used to access our applications, interests and needs that you share with us, and user behavior we collect as part of due diligence, to prevent fraudulent conduct, and comply with available laws;
Other information, as determined to be necessary in the use ZIG.
Processing and Disclosure of the User’s Data
Processing means any activity pertaining to the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure or destruction of User Data.
We process User Data only for legitimate purposes and with lawful basis such as your express consent, terms and conditions of product or service you signed up with us, and as required by law and regulation. The use of your data is specifically enumerated below:
We will store your personal data to validate, verify, and update your information and documents. We may also use similar Data you provide us in response to your queries and inputs and to aggregate user profiles.
We will store your contact details and demographic information and use it to contact you, provide you with details of the Services you have availed and otherwise as required during the normal provision of the services.

IOL Inc. may supplement the information that you provide with information we receive from third parties, such as other users, government bodies and business entities.
We use your data for regulatory compliance purposes (i.e submission of reports to the BIR or in response to government-related orders);
We use your data to perform our legal duties and other activities required by law, as well as to settle claims or disputes involving our products and services. Your data can also be used for prosecuting or defending IOL Inc. or its employees if needed.
Unless you consent, we will not pass any personal data onto anyone outside of IOL Inc. However, we may use aggregated data to avail the services of third party providers to improve our services. Your personal data is de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized by ZIG so that it no longer identifies you before it’s made available to third parties. We and third parties use this information without trying to re-identify individuals, for the purpose of improving our services, conducting research, or for analytics or statistics. On the other hand, you may also avail the services of third party providers such as product suppliers, whose data you will enter into the system.
Rights of Data Subjects/Users
Right to be Informed. To be informed or notified if your data is being processed or has been processed, what data is being processed, and for what purposes.
Right to Access. To demand access to your personal data.
Right to Data Portability. To obtain a copy of your personal data in an electronic or structured format that allows further use by the data subject.
Right to Object. To object to the processing of your personal data, including processing for direct marketing, automated processing, or profiling, and in case of changes or amendments in processing, provided, a written communication is given to IOL Inc. signifying your objection. In the absence thereof, IOL Inc. reserves the right to presume that you consented to the processing of your data.
Right to Erasure or Blocking. To suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data from the IOL Inc. system. However, it is understood that upon exercise of this right, IOL Inc. has the right to terminate the services that you have availed.
Right to Damages. The right to damages sustained from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained data as well as damages from unauthorized uses of your data.

Obligations of Data Subjects
You, as the data subject, agree to provide the necessary information as needed or as may be requested by IOL Inc. in connection to the former’s use of the latter’s services.
You accept the inherent security implications of being and transacting online over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security beyond the control of IOL Inc.
IOL Inc. shall not also be held liable for any negligence that you may have committed in connection to usernames and passwords. As such, you are advised to exercise diligence and prudence in protecting your usernames and passwords.
To protect your data, you must use strong passwords and change them regularly. You must make sure to use devices that are safe and keep the software updated.
You must make sure to submit accurate and complete information. IOL Inc. shall not be responsible for any misleading information that you might have provided.
You must immediately inform IOL Inc. for any suspected breach of security.
Data Retention
Your personal data shall be retained in ZIG’s database for no longer than 5 years from the conclusion of your transactions in the company, or as may be provided by law.
Changes to Our Data Privacy Statement
IOL Inc. may modify this Data Privacy Statement to comply with the changes in relevant laws and regulations as applicable. Users will be duly notified of the changes via our website advisories, email, and other electronic means.
